Schools - Henryville Jr.-Sr. High - Media Resources - Teachers Resources

Media Resources Sub-Sections

LINKS & TEACHER RESOURCES

In Addition to the student resources, instructional equipment and materials may be scheduled and checked out by the Henryville Elementary & High School Teachers!

Professional education materials are located on the shelves immediately adjacent to the media center conference room.

To support the instructional practice of writing across the curriculum, class sets of dictionaries and thesauri are available on carts to use as needed.

In addition to books, teachers may check out instructional videos and DVDs to use in the classroom. These may be shown on TV/VCR units mounted in each classroom either by loading them directly into the units, or having them sent over the media retrieval system on channels 60 or 61. An extensive video collection may be also be scheduled by faculty (with free delivery) from the Wilson Education Center. To obtain your username and password contact your media specialist.

Video and online content can help teachers and their students make meaningful connections to new information, reinforce previous learning, interact with other learners, and create original content. Check out what Cable in the Classroom has to offer K-12 learners across subject areas.
